Tima Maria Lacoba was born in a small town in the Philippines. She is a physician who graduated from the University of the Philippines Manila with a degree in Medicine. She has been a medical missionary in different countries including Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the Philippines. In the Philippines, she served as a hospital administrator for two years and also helped to organize social service programs for children, senior citizens, the handicapped and the homeless
Tima is married to Phil Lacoba, who is a businessman and has been involved in developing real estate projects, including commercial properties and high-rise buildings.
